All I got to say is WOW. I would love to do an AWD swap to a civic hatch, but unfortunately that is way beyond my fabricating limits. Great work though. I know a person who did a DSM 4g63 motor swap into his hatch and converted it to AWD. Its crazy, not to mention how badass it looks with all 4 slicks.

Yea the OP's AWD is sweet and props for all the work you've done. The other dude that posted the AWD on here definitely creative but a 4G63 is a garbage engine and was a bad idea in my opinion. I've had 2 3000GT one of which was a VR4 and never again will touch a DSM piece of crap. 4G and 6G motors are good for doorstops adn thats it.

this is why you REMOVE the pvc check valve when a car is boosted. it build's up crank case pressure on the bottom end and usually creates ring blow-by and ruins the rings. and you should run a vented catch can.

i think the best and strongest awd setup would be to go with the k24 crv setup . stock block can be boosted and make over 400hp on .. its been done before and looks awesome. it seems by ur choices and wanting to do a 2.2 stroker u have ail bit of coin to spend. k24's are relatively cheap like a b20 maybe alil more but beefier. only thing is most honda 4wd setups are not made to be pushed hard especially @ 300-400hp good luck on ur choice.

i agree you couldn't pay me enough to work on a dsm or 4G motor again . i did it once and never again what a big PITA. the bottom ends are bulletproof but other then that they're overated and as he said good door stopper . lol

A 3000gt is not a DSM and personally I would never get one anyways. Those cars are paper weights. There extremely heavy and take a large wallet to make fast. And the 4G63 is an amazing motor. My previous car was a 98 eclipse GSX. On the stock block I dyno'd over 460 AWHP.

it is a DSM, and DSM motors suck. Yea they can make power, but they blow up every day. Just spinning bearings, shooting out pistons, etc

Jimster is right. The 4G as well as the 6G motors are garbage, I'm speaking from experiance I've head enough of them. They are capable of making power but they're a very expensive platform to start with and it's really not worth it. You could have built a EG hatch to run 11s with half of the money it took your factory boosted car to see those kind of numbers. The stock 6G72 from the factory puts out around 320HP at the crank. They are not reliable no matter how you look at it. They are heavy and expensive to maintain.

well no its not going to be laggy. But on 20PSI it still wont make good power. Just look at the power that EVO's make and they boost 18+ from the factory. U should have searched around for a Holset HY35 or HX35

my engine is just a little over 1600 cc so i thot that a smaller turbo will get me around 300 hp .
i also have the biger version of the same turbocharger from the evo ix(it has a biger compressor ...

Just do a little research please. A 3000gt is not a DSM. I am a member on 3 different DSM forums and you will NOT find any information regarding 3000gt's not will you find any photos of them in the photo gallery's. This is simply because its not one. Everyone thinks just because a 3000gt is a mitsubishi during the 90's that it is a DSM, but your wrong.

Please do a little research yourself. I've been a member of 3si.org for 7 years and have done plenty of work and research on those cars.
