Auto to manual d15b7 to d16z6 swap issues
Hello all! Ok so i am coming to the end of my z6 manual swap in my 94 auto delsol! Only i am having some issues...car will crank but im not getting spark i have not messed with the auto shifter wires yet because i have heared mixed things...ive tried starting it in park and neutral and still just cranks..only reason i havent modified the plug yet is because ive been told because of the auto cabin harness if i trick it to think it is in park or neutral vtec will not engage once car is running? Is this true? Also when it comes to the no spark issue the dizzy has been sitting for a year in my garage but is basicly new internals are perfectly dry no oil or moisture.i have changed to a p28 manual ecu but have also tried starting it with the b7 ecu for ***** and giggles still same outcome...all grounds are there and have solid connections i even added 1 str8 to the dizzy and 1 to the block...the car is getting fuel and cranks just wont spark..i have posted on all my facebook honda pages asking for input and with 0 luck havent gotten anything of value. I NEED help!

clean/check g101. https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-...8557/#34826076 and https://www.d-series.org/forums/diy-...nual-swap.html the electrical part is not an option.

The only wiring differences involve the starting circuit and backup lights. They don't tie into the ECU at all, just the starter. That being said you either have an issue totally unrelated to the swap, or you disturbed something you shouldn't have while doing the swap. Having done a bunch of these I really do prefer having a proper manual cabin harness, but you have it wired correctly if it's turning over.

Park or neutral has no effect on vtec. If you're using a manual p28, as you should be, than you should be fine. You have other issues.
