confusion

I am swapping my sohc vtec from manual to auto, giving the car to my girl, right nw i am running a p28. when i swap am i going to have to swap ecu's???? thanks

yeah and if the car wasnt a manual before you are going to have to run some wires to make the ecu recognize its in park and for back up lights

thats what im saying without the wires for the automatic shifter the automatic ecu will not start unless it knows its in park. If i remember correctly. and you will need to run back uplights for the automatic shifter as well. Because when i did the Auto To Manual there were a bunch of wires going ot the shifter and thats what they were for if i remember correctly.

i mean i tranny work the car only got 130,??? on it i drive the car to work and back it runs fine its the only car i got will if u dont wanna trade how much for ur tranny and padels and all ur linkages???
