apexi world sport exhaust and rubbing?

Default apexi world sport exhaust and rubbing?

anyone here have the apexi world sport exhaust on a civic coupe? i hear it rubs against the gas tank and rear sway endlink.. some pics maybe?

the flange that connects the rear section to the b pipe rubs against the sheet metal surrounding the gas tank... you can either smash and bend the hangar more outward, or you can just bash the gas tank in a bit with a ball peen hammer.

I have the WS and I had no clearance issues. The muffler shop said they'd never seen an aftermarket fit as well as it did.

This was in August '02. I believe the first version had some rubbing issues because I read about them before buying the exhaust but it was apparently fixed by the time I got mine.

Now with WSII available, I doubt there's any problems.

you have the WS? or you just hearing rumors? I seriously doubt APEXi will have a stupid problem like this, even if your car is hugging the pavement.

i have the ws on my 4dr.... and yes, it rubbed and rattled and shaked and shimmied like crazy at 1500-2000 rpm
