Default apexi vafc

allright i put a apexi vafc in my 95 civic and it didnt come with directions in the setting there is a throttle option 20% 50% does anyone know how this works and where should mine be set at im lost. motor jdm b16a

do not touch the settings if you dont know wtf you're doing. leave it stock or take it out.

I'm with doood, you can ruin your car if you don't know what you're doing.

Leave your crossover alone, tuning a stock motor won't net you anything.

So we should let him install it, mess with the settings, and blow his motor up?

That would be irresponsible, and I'm sure he's aware Apexi can send him installation instructions for free.

im with the majority of the group go on apexi's site and check out there support if theres a number call and ask for a installation kit

However, as others have stated, if you do not have experience tuning and access to a wideband O2 or dyno, you really shouldn't attempt to adjust the unit yourself. You could easily end up doing more harm than good, and at the very least may have less power than you started with.

That's not necessarily true. Properly tuning even a relatively stock setup can still yield gains, though whether or not those gains are worth the expense if one has to pay for dyno time is debatable.

Though true, gains on a stock motor from tuning are often negligible. 5-10whp at most. But not cost efficient when you have to pay for the dyno/tuning.
