Default Apexi N1

I need to replace the muffler on my N1 cat back and was looking around and found that there is a Turbo N1 version muffler and a regular N/A verision. I was wondering what the difference was, and what would better sute me. I dont know the piping size for the civic N1 cat back but I know its not 2.5 so would it be a good idea to get a 2.5 inlet mufffler as far a s performance?

ok but will it be possible to run my 2.3 60mm piping into the 80mm 3.1 inch inlet turbo muffler. Is there a adaptor I need to buy?. Will this perform good or am I better off just getting a regular N/A 60MM muffler.

just get the regular N/A muffler. If you get the bigger piping you would have to take it to a shop and have them match and weld the new piping.

um well its going to the shop either way cause I have to cut the old muffler off in order put on a new one in which they will be welding the new one on. What im trying to decide is if imma gain or lose by upping the size of the muffler. Both 60 and 80mm will cost me the same to get so i just need to know what I will be facing.

You won't gain or lose anything noticeable. If you were changing maybe the whole axle back you could tell but .7 of an inch difference in the muffler isn't going to change anything. Just go with the N/A so you dont have a crappy flared pipe holding the canister to the rest of the piping. My .02

yea and im thinking about just upgrading the cat-back to 2.5 now to tell you the truth. you think there will be a difference?
