probably, seeing as how i don't think the N1 N/A uses a 3" inlet.

the inlet is about 2.5 inches. i think that the muffler shop can flare it out, but my concern is the outlet. is the n/a outlet too small for turbo?

unless the actually piping running THROUGH the canister increases to 3", flaring a 2.5" inlet will do nothing. you flare it out to fit 3" piping, and then what? it bottle necks back to 2.5" piping inside the muffler. i've seen the inside of both a N1 n/a and n1 turbo, and i don't recall either having the piping increase size inside the muffler.

that is what i like about the exhaust. the fact that it is quiet is good because i am going for the sleeper look. what size of piping do you have?

The N1 piping is 2.36 ( I think...60mm) then my DP is 2.25->2.4"...so its..

Turbo--->2.25"dp---->2.4"pipe---->JDM cat---->N1 full exhaust 2.36"

When I say quiet...its not Cadillac quiet...the exhaust is very throaty and much quieter than it was when it was NA...

would you think that it would be useless if i got my piping 3" because of the size of the inlet on the muffler?

if you are less than 2 liters in displacement and less than 250 hp, youll be fine with n1. I have it on mine, with a 2.5" testpipe. Everything fits, works, and spools perfectly fine and good. Its a great setup. I have it on my 96' ex (greddy turbo).

I have the complete apex N1 N/A piping and muffler on my GSR/Drag 3 and it's very quiet . I'm making 250hp, but it feels very restrictive, like I'm losing a lot of power. Any suggestions?

get a dyno and see where the power starts to drop off...if its like towards the end of the curve...then it may be your exhaust is too restrictive...if it looks to still be climbing a bit or even level toward the end, then its something else

as far as the exhaust note...for a lack of better description, my car sounds like a WRX at idle (heavy and throaty)...then a bit more high pitched and raspier at higher rpms...I assume it gets really strung at higher boosts... I was too chicken **** to go above 7000rpms because by EBC wasn't holding boost...but when I get my car back ...I will make a vid once its all broken in and tuned

Yo Miraiz... Firstly that is a heavy set up u got there... Respek!!

On the same note... I'm just about to install a Max Rev kit.. and I wanted to know what size exhaust is recommended?

I've got the MR downpipe > No cat > a silencer > then a 5Zigen Fireball Muffler... At the mo the piping is 2.25" I think... Would it be better to go for 2.5 straight through from DP > Muffler or 3"???

Cheers.

The turbo n1 will work good, but the N/A n1 has a pretty small inner diamter on the core of the muffler. It WILL make a difference going from the n/a to turbo...

nope, no cat. just the flex pipe and the rest is all N1 N/A piping. Would it be worth it for me to get the N1 turbo muffler? Get rid of the whole N/A setup(piping and muffler) and get 2.5 inch muffler shop piping with the N1 turbo muffler?
Thanks

so, would it be wise to increase the stock piping to 2.5 or 3 inches and keep the n/a muffler?
