Hondata is nice if you have $175 an hour to get it tuned
$175 hr Erick's Racing
$300 flat rate Import Builders
I am not rich enough to pay that everytime I want to add something new to my motor

I have one, I like it. Very cool product, plus I didnt have to switch to obd1 to run it, so that was a plus for me. It can data log, has 16X16 fuel map and ignition map. Can control up to 150% larger injectors. Has a boost cut eliminator. Has a anti stall feature. There is too fuel maps. One for controlling the main map sensor voltage that the ecu reads, which if you add to much youll get a check engine light. Then you have an additional map for adding voltage straight to the injector. Also it can control up to 2 additional injectors. It was easy too hook up and very easy to tune. No chip burning.

what is the software like to tune it? My friend just bought the AEM EMS and it seems like you need a phd to understand the damn thing

well the only thing I had trouble with is the fact that most maps are in kPa, Kg/Cm2
and a few others that im not familiar. So i made myself a little cheat sheet for conversion of kPa to psi. Other then that its pretty simple. Like the main map for airflow is based off of throttle position and is 16 x 16. To change injector size you just input the old injector size and the new injector size and it trims the whole table for you , and all tables are at zero, so you can adjust as if it was stock. I would say its relativly easy. The only thing that i could recommend though is to get a wideband O2 sensor, and reader like LambdaBoy, and do your tuning with that.
Also if you do get an emanage .. read the book very carefully. You have to do some Jumper changes on the main mother board and adjust a few rotary switches. But overall Its not difficult.
