Default Since nobody in Boise can tune Hondata, should I get e-Manage instead?

I'm running the setup listen in my sig, and I want to step up to 10psi. Will e-Manage be allright? I'm never planning on doing internal work, so, nothing above 10psi. It's just that there is a dyno shop locally that can help me tune with GReddy, and not Hondata.

Where is the closest Hondata tuner?

The closest one is in Salt Lake City Utah, which is about 4 hours away. Is that worth the drive?

You should try to find a tuner and see what (s)he suggests.. Try to get what they are familiar with.. worst case scenario... learn some tuning yourself.. Get the Hondata tuning package and a wideband.. ask questions and go slowly.

I think it is worth a 4hr drive if the hondata tuner is knowledgable.

Six hours in a short bus.... I already talked to Rory, and he's the one that told me to get e-Manage, because they are getting a dyno wheel soon.

Talk to you local tuner and tell him about Hondata and see if he's interested in becoming a dealer. Then you will both benefit from it.

I've heard good things about the E-manage but to unlock it's full potential you need the optional support tool, ignition and injector harnesses.

Also, the base system has a limited fuel correction. Without the Options you can't run injectors larger than 150% your stock injectors (like stock 240cc - max 360cc ).

With all that being said, I'd go with whatever your tuner is most familier with. And if you decide to get a E-manage. Hit me up (email or pm), I can get you a new one with Support tool and harnesses for cheaper than you're likely to find.

Agreed, hondata is easier to tune then you think. All you need to tune hondata is the rom editor software, a wb02, and either the romulator or the pocket programmer. Save your self the trip and the money spent on a tuning session, because as soon as you change something in your setup you will want to get it retuned...which obviously means more unecessary spending.
