anyone have TL bi-xenons retro in 96-00 civic headlamps (or 92-95's)
I am in the process of acquiring everything needed for acura TL projectors with rare zkw (e46) bixenon lense swap. I just picked up some (gunmetal chrome)crossfire shoruds which should look good in my oem CTR headlamps.
for those that don't know the lense from e46 bmw Canadian 330ix is the only car that comes with zkw bi-xenons (clear lense). when that lense is swapped on TL projectors the result is a ultra-sharp cutoff at a very long distance.
I am looking for people that have mounted TL projectors in 96-00 civic headlamps for some advice on mounting...I hope to retain my oe city light socket & need tips for mounting

got started Retro Time!!!!! did some work today
TL projectors
zkw lenses
crysler crossfire shrouds
perfect fit with shrouds after much dremeling
hacked the oem CTR... still got citylights tho
I didn't mount projectors yet...need to test 'em out & make sure they are angled properly first...but heres how the should look
only one side done for now

you'd have to cut the bottom out to fit the bi-xenon motor thingy these things barely fit
lol this is a time consuming project lol

Nice, daym you also got them lenses to, kool!, id be happy just to get the projectors. anyways i did a retro on mines just about to add a heavy duty harness. mines still single beam consisting of evo projectors giving from my homie. and g35 hid kit. my only concern for the bi-xenon is the wiring. after its done and over with could you go over the wirings.

are you a member at HIDplanet.com? If so i have a whole page that is set up for when i mounted my TSX projectors in my 96-98 headlights.
I know you asked for TL, but with pics of how mine are mounted might help.
