96-00 sunfoor on 92-95 civic
I swear ive seen this done before but only on a picture. I was wondering if there was any modification or anything needed to swap these sunroofs? Reason being, I enjoy the sunroof glass being tucked away in the roof rather than it is usually, angled up on the outside... any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I can soon take some measurements of my moonroof for you.
In order to make the '96-'00 Civic moonroof fit your car, you're going to probably need then entire assembly. That includes the giant black piece that fits under the roof skin and above the headliner. I don't know if your headliner will have the room to allow the '96-'00 framework above it. I have one in the back room and I can take measurements. Mine is from a coupe (some parts are the same on the sedan).
Basically the biggest concerns will be:
- You need '96-'00 track assemblies
- You might need '96-'00 glass (5G probably has different mounting, but the 6G might be larger than the hole in your roof skin)
- You might need to modify the 5G glass panel (so you have the right size glass to begin with)
- You might need '96-'00 frame (5G might be too shallow to fit the glass)
My extra assembly is NOT for sale though. Sorry.

lol.. thanks for the support man. The measuring will be helpful. When i get headliners off of my cars ( i have a 5g hatch and a 6g coupe ) ill see how each's track and assembly compare. Let me know of your efforts. Thanks again.

OEM moonroofs need a different roof skin that cars without moonroofs just do not have.
