Anyone with a B18B swap?
Who's got a b18b swap in there eg civic, how do you enjoy it? How hard was the swap itself? How does it pull? Pics?
Any and all info is welcome.

Swap was easy, just like any other into a 92-95. Just changed the ECU and it was perfect.
It pulls and with a VTEC head or boost they own.

I wouldn't mind a b18b, it would actually be a "pretty good" experience. Hey 94hybridex, I have noticed that you lived in Boca Raton as well. Will you be my friend?
Actually I got to drive 94hybridex's car and it wasn't too bad, sounds nice too.

Re: Anyone with a B18B swap? (Civ-JDM)
Civ-JDM: I was just wondering what ECU he is running. Is it just the LS one or is it reprogrammed?
I like my 1.8, runs great. I'm starting to get accustomed to the power so I'm going turbo. First I'm headed to the dyno to make sure it's making the hp it should stock.

The LS is a good choice for an N20 or turbo setup...
LS/Vetc is great for those too!! Thats mt setup, by im doin all motor, just too see what I can squeeze out of it

i have a b18b in my si hatch and it runs pretty good... its not the quickest thing in the world but its pretty fast for me now... once i get out of high school i plan on boosting it or doing an ls/vtec. the b18bs are nice and cheap.. they dont cost an arm and a leg.

I had one in my hatch...now just resting in my garage...
it is mad torquey...only thing i didnt like was the tranny..
IMO that LS tranny sucked N/A...only with N20 those gears felt good...
and the swap was cake..

Re: Anyone with a B18B swap? (stangkilla)
In my area, I'm finding B18B the same price as B16A2 right now. I'd go with 18 more hp and VTEC. Unless boosting. I prefer non-VTEC for that. IMO.
