Blown motor within 6months to a year. But then again since you are only going to run 3-6 psi it shouldn't be too bad. Just make sure the engine is getting more fuel.
Either way your motor is gonna get worked.

BTW EX's have SOHC Vtec motors, unless your's was swapped?

Improper tunning kills motors, not Boost

93 EX = SOHC VTEC motor.

So do you have a non VTEC LX or a SOHC VTEC EX?

do you know what a vtec solenoid is? Tell us your engine code. It should be d16z6, those 93's didn't come with vtec valve covers, so that's probably what you're thinking.

On a stupider note:

sunroof = vtec

almost all the time.

You have a VTEC engine for sure. The 92-93 Civic Si and Ex did not have the word VTEC on the valve cover. The 94-95 Civic Si and Ex do have the "VTEC" word on the valve cover. You sir are the proud owner of a D16Z6 SOHC VTEC engine.

also if you wanna know if its vtec or not look at where the spark wires go. if at the top of the valve cover its non vtec and if its at the bottom its vtec or just look for a vtec solinoid. just thought you might wanna know . also correction on the 94-95 vtec on valve cover only 95 comes that way. 92-94 shouldnt have it. i have a 95 cpe ex that had it and a 94 si HB that didnt.

HAHAHA thank you for posting that... notice how she is not wearing any shoes and is sitting where there is a support bar and she didnt scratch the paint at all. and the reason i ask about the turbo is more of just getting some ideas and wondering if its even possible. my friend has a 90 celica alltrack turbo and he got a whole new 3-gst (i believe) front clip for $1200 for it so he just said for fun he would sell me his old turbo for $100 and im just looking into all the stuff i would need to make it work. and being i would have to make my own custom exhaust header for it or pay out the *** i dont think its gonna happen unless you people have any better ideas. just toying with ideas while i have no money and trying to learn as much as i can before i do have the money so i dont break anything

about the VTEC thing i just never saw anywhere that it was actually VTEC and i believe that my Chiltons doesnt have anything about it either but ill check. thanks for the tips and bearing with my young stupid inexperianced ***, gotta learn somehow though right?

The turbo from the 3SGTE motor on the Celica would take a good amount of customizing, and would take more time and money then it's worth in my opinion..... You're better off getting a Greddy Kit or other turbo kit made for your Civic and get it installed and tuned from someone experienced and knowledgable....

On the part of learning, it is better to learn as much as you can from other peoples mistakes and experiences....unless you have money tree in your backyard or something and an extra car for a daily driver, it's no fun learning by blowing up your motor

Good luck...
