Any of you guys around Dallas, (Mesquite) arera wanna make 20 bucks tonight?
I need someone to come over and help me figure out why I cant get my car to rev over 2500 rpm's and why when I take the 4 plug wire off it doesnt change the way the car idle's. Now the motor has been sitting for about 6-8 months but when it was running it was running very strong. 17K miles on the motor itself. I parked the car and pulled the tranny to sell it. Now I got me a good B16A tranny and I can not get the motor to rev out correctly. Also, the car that the motor has been put into, had the same problem with revving out. I thought the motor was bad so that is when I put the GSR motor in. I have changed wiring harness out, Fuel filter, and ECU. Still the same thing. And the gas that was in the car was ran out and filled with 13.00 worth of premium after it started running bad. So anyone got any ideas?

Rephrase that line
Also, are you revving using the pedal or by turning the throttle blade by hand?

It does it by the gas pedal or the hand blade, no difference and also. When I take the spark plug wire off of 1 or 4 the car remains idling the same.

Could need new spark plugs, or injectors might be locked. You using the same ecu as before. Could also be this.

I would ride and charge you my gas fare, but I can barely see straight. Back to the top. Glad to see the car is back and running though. Where did the tranny come from?

if you pull the 4th plug, then your not getting combustion in your 4th cylinder. Your car is running on 3 cylinders

well it will do the same thing on one too though. So 1 and 4 can be pulled and car still idles the same. 2 and 3 cant be pulled at all the car tries to die

Been trying to get online all night, but the AIM express proxy server wouldn't let me on. They were trying to force me into just downloading the application so they could control my computer from their headquarters.

Havent tried plugs or wires yet but I figured since it only has 17k miles on the motor that it SHOULD be alright. But I will try this. Thank you for the help.
