So I will be purchasing a longblock sometime soon and I was wondering what to look for to tell if the motor is bad or not. I know that I can do a leakdown test, but what else?

also take the valve cover off and see how good the inside of the head looks, if it is corroded with oil then more than likely it is going to smoke.. other than that I would just make sure it had all of it's sensors, since you already know bout the leak down test.
