any way to eliminate the evap system??

Default any way to eliminate the evap system??

like above says is there any way around this?? if so thanks in advance

yes you can. but i dont know why you would want to? it robs no power, doesnt hurt gas mileage (actually helps) and only activates when at a steady cruising speed, so who cares if it replaces a little air/fuel? and if all the sudden you go WOT, it closes. so no loss in power.

no its just that i keep throwing a CEL for diff parts of it, thats the only reason why, and is there any way to keep the CEL off w/ it out??

not that i know of. with it gone, it will still throw a CEL. just replace the parts that are bad, then no CEL.

damn, i wish i knew what part was bad, i've already changed the canister and stuff but i guess i'll keep tending to the moneypit

thats weird i dont have a vacuum canister, never had the evap silenoid even with stock maifold, and im only using one line from the charcoal canister that i dont even need and i get no cel's. also, my car still butterflies with all those missing with a blox manifold. dont ask me how. all i have is 96 jdm gsr converted to obd1. so i just plugged up all the vacuum nipples i didnt need.
