amsoil????
I bought oil today and I heard amsoil is good. I know everyone has their own opinion on oil but those who have tried it, is it one of the best??? o yeah, and i cheapened out and bought a mobil 1 oil filter instead of a amsoil. hahahahha, im not paying 16 bucks for an oil filter.

Oil is oil so long as it meets the manufacturers warranty requirements and you change it consistently depending how you drive. Lower weight is what gives you that extra hp while more weight gives you more protection.

Re: amsoil???? (Frickr)
Seriously man there is two types of oil. conventional, and synthetic. I would suggest synthetic as it a better oil but make sure your motor has no problems such as leaking oil, burning, etc. all synthetic oils to the same. mobile 1, amsoil, pennzoil, whatever all the same. ive tried them all and no difference

I'm certain there are some minor chemical differences and some additive differences. The ITR I used to have drank Mobil and Amsoil like crazy but never lost so much as a drop of Royal Purple. I later had a B16 that drank every synthetic I poured in it and was only happy with Castrol GTX.
