alternator removal...
In the process of removing my alternator on my d16z6, I removed the top 2 bolts and now im TRYING to get the LONG bolt out from the bottem... Well I took off the nut on 1 end and tried pushing it through but it WONT move! The other end of the bolt is big and square and will not turn (unscrew) cause of the alternator mount. Any 1 have any ideas? thanx!!!

Re: alternator removal... (The Dirty EJ1)
um.. tap it out with a hammer????
if its for an eg, you gotta take it out underneath the car. there just simply isnt enough room from up top. at least with the 3 alts ive done i had to pop my axle out just a bit and wiggle the bitch out.
