Hey guys, im having a difficult time with the lower through bolt on the alternator. It should just slide out after having removed the nut. However its just not budging. any advise or am i missing something? is there away to remove the lower alternator bracket to drop the whole unit out and then remove the though bolt after ward?

all other bolts etc. have been removed. the through bolt seems to be in cased pretty good. the car has been sitting for a few months. (which is why the alternator needs to be replaced) so i assume there is just a fair amount of rusting in place happening.

let it soak with some wd40 and tap it with a hammer.

If you can't get it with a hammer get something with reach like a extension , 3/8's or a long screwdriver and tap it on the end with a hammer.
