Lowered an inch or more, I'd say yes!

if you lower your car like to the ground or 1finger gap, etc....i'd recommend getting camber kits.

you pretty much only need an alignment if you like having a car that goes perfectly straight. and you don't want your tires wear out on the sides fast.

so if you want both of those get an alignment.

Agreed. I lowered my car 2 inches, got it aligned, the next day it was runnin me off the right side of the road It's back to stock height now and I still have problems w/ it..could be due to the fact I let a complete idiot slave over my suspension.

an alignment does NOT fix the CAMBER. All that alignment will do is fix your TOE settings, generally on a street car you want the toe settings to be as close to 0 (zero) as possible.

A camber kit on the otherhand, will NOT FIX the TOE settings. All it does is fix CAMBER. there's a huge difference between the two. All Camber does is adjust the angle at which the wheels sit perpendicularly to the ground.

PM me if you have questions.
