Air/Fuel Ratio Guage and O2 sensor..???
i know im new, but please help a girl out guys...i kinda have a problem.
few months ago a friend of mine installed a fuel/ratio guage in my del sol...we didn't like it so we took it out. after that my check engine light would come on...mainly when i was in stop and go traffic. On the interstate it was fine and wouldn't come on. Thing is for the past say 2 months...it hasn't come on at all, but im still getting really shitty gas mileage. Is the o2 sensor the prob? im guessing it is...could it just be unplugged or could i need a new one?
thanks for any help you guys can give me

if you unplug it, the cel will always be on and you will still recieve shitty gas mileage, i know their pricey, if you dont have the money buy a bosch universal and wire it in using the old o2 harness, mine works great!

Re: (PeachyFridays)
the one boshe makes for honda is about 70 bucks..and before you go buy a new sensor...check the wire you spliced. You may have just damaged it to the point where a clear signal isn't making it through.
