Default this aint right

i bought my swap from hmotorsonline.com, i put it in and started right up, i went for a drive and found out the thing wont shift into gear, took out the tranny to check the clutch, apparently one of the springs on the clutch came out and expletive it all up and the flywheel... so im spending like another $650, that doesnt seem fair to me... since i arleady payed $2600 for the swap plus like another $300 for extra parts that i needed for complete the swap...

im thinking about calling them and asking to at least pay for half the damn clutch

you're supposed to replace the clutch when you get a swap from an unknown place...or at least inspect it. its just common sence:

-spark plugs
-cap/rotor
-plug wires
-t.stat
-water pump
-oil pump
-rear main seal
-cam seals
-VC gasket
-HG (if needed)
-oil pan gasket
-axle seals
-clutch
-resurface flywheel
-t.belt (all belts, really)

That's about right...
When I ordered my swap from hmotors, it was all expletived up. No Throttle cable, all gaskets were fucked, so after completely rebuilding it, expletive tranny started grinding in 3rd and 4th.

you should have at least checked the clutch while the motor was out.

to the guy who had to rebuild his swap. Did you even contact HMO? The usaully take care of issues such as yours.

I have put over 75k on my swap from them and it is still flawless

So call them. What is the worst that can happen? They might say no?

Good luck, I would be pissed too.

Yea, I called steve, could never get a hold of him. When I finally did, asked him with the upmost respect to compensate for something, or give me a discount on my next order...
His "Go F-Yourself" attitude makes me **** on his name to this day.

I bought a motor from hmotors it was perfect but then I went back and bought a downpipe for the same motor and they gave me the wrong one. and since I paid cash for the downpipe they didn't give me a reciept so I have no proof that I bought it from them so I am pretty screwed.

I might try buying another one from them and then returning the one I got the first time haha. but I am too lazy lol.

but yeah too bad there is no symbol for a sideways thumb.
