Air Fuel Ratio Gauge
Can someone tell which wires are which on the primary O2 sensor. It has four wires. 2 black, 1 white, 1 green. Im pretty sure the Green wire is the signal wire I need to splice into....
I have 00 Si.
I have to sliced into the green wire right now and its wired up properly. Is it just possible that the O2 sensor has gone bad. I have run 110 octane a few times. I took out the secondary a lont time ago since I dont have a cat. I still have it can I just swap O2 sensors?
Thansk.

Re: Air Fuel Ratio Gauge (nd4sped)
look it up in a haynes manual but in most wiring schemes Black is positive, white is negative and green is ground. (this may not translate into automobiles wiring)

I just sent Autometer a message on thier site. hopefully they will get back at me. I have done this wiring before on my 98 LX (RIP). But for some reason or another Im just having one of those problems ya know. I even dug through my Honda Service Manual and didnt see it anywhere.

Re: Air Fuel Ratio Gauge (nd4sped)
if you look at the engine harness side plug, there is a white wire with shielding on it. it is a layer of wore around the other wire. the other way to tell is to put a volt meter on it and see which one fluctuates between .1 and .9 volts. i am 99.9% sure it is the white wire on the engine harness side. not the 02 sensor side. peel the outer covering off of the harness and look at it. you will see the difference in the wiring.
