Default ACT StreetLite Forged Chromoly Steel Flywheel

I'm in the market for a new clutch and flywheel combo...my mind is already set for the exedy organic race clutch kit..my next decision is which flywheel to get...im leaning towards the ACT StreetLite Forged Chromoly Steel Flywheel because it doesn't seem that expensive compared to other flywheels on the market..is anyone using this flywheel in their car? any regrets? is there any reason i shouldn't get this flywheel?...and my last question..what setup are you guys using in your cars..?

I have read about it, I like the idea its not super light (like my TODA)! It will be a good Flywheel for street driving and Drag racing being it has some extra weight!

I think the spoon is a good flywheel. I personally don't have it, but I know it costs around $350 average which is $100 less the toda and JUN and it's still chromoly. When it comes time for me to get one, thats what I'm going with.

I just recently got my clutch flywheel combo.

I got the Exedy Organic Racing clutch and the Act Xact 12lb lightened flywheel

Not to heavy, no to light. just right

I love both of them.
Exellent for the money.

That is the combo that I'm looking to get. Seems like the right way to go. Glad to hear from someone who has it.

I just ordered the ACT XTSS and the ACT Streetlite flywheel so I will let you know how it feels at the end of the week
I also didn't want to go with a ultra lite flywheel and I thinks the streetlite is a good medium

I think the spoon is a good flywheel.
I was under the impression that the Spoon flywheel is a lightened oem itr unit that comes with new bearing and bolts, and THAT is why its cheaper than the others that are actually aluminum or chromoly...

i think you are right.
i dont want to turn this into another aluminum vs chromoly thred but i am looking at the fidanza/comptech too, and i want some more comfirmation that a super-light aluminum is streetable.

I went with the 12lb

Not to light where you have to rev up higher for better launching.

Its just right in the middle

Wrong... The Spoon Flywheel Is a Machined Cromemoly piece like the Toda, Just No holes in it!

It also comes with allen Head bolts for clutch!

I installed one in my roomates old car, It was very nice And not bad for the money but IMO i would get an Cheaper one! ( eric whom cant talk being he has a toda fw)
