Can you resurface a ACT Flywheel?

Default Can you resurface a ACT Flywheel?

Damn I feel like a dumbass asking this question? I have a ACT flywheel and I believed it could be glazed . If its glazed will I be able to resurface it?

i don't see why not. a flywheel is a flywheel lightened or not....

I've been told that if you have an aluminum flywheel, you can't resurface them because the aluminum is so brittle that if you shave them off, it may shatter.



this is a picture of when i installed my new clutch. If you look behind my 4puck clutch, you'll see a disc on the flywheel that is in contact with my clutch. Instead of resurfacing or "shaving" it, you just replace this disc. Perhaps your ACT flywheel has one of these. Hope this helps.
