AC Hoses installions ?????
hey guys i just had my 93 civic in the mechanics to install a 2000 b18b compressor with a new belt but the hoses were from a 93 civ. Now I just order the two hoses that need to be replaced but i dont want to take it back to the mechanics to get them put it because its getting pricey. now I was planning to installing it myself but i want to do it right.... is there any write up or DIY write up... if not then can someone guide me in the right direction... PS.. Is there anything i need to know when i attempt to put them in... I have the freon and the hoses, is there anything that needs to be done. I would greatly appreciate the info and the help... Thanks guys..

Re: AC Hoses installions ?????
rather than using a b compressor
why not use the stock d.
get a engine mount from a del sol or a crv. don't remeber what yr.
cause the hoses are going the be a harder.
also make sure the mount is complete.
I would do a search for better info.
but here is 1 of the thread that could help.

Another vote for using the P54 del Sol bracket or the P7J CRV bracket. Your stuff just bolts right to it at that point. Also, not sure what AC lines they had you buy but I don't think there is any "direct fit" AC line for a 92-95 with a B series compressor...

Well, if you got the right parts, it will be pretty obvious where the parts hook up. If you got the wrong ones, the hose(s) may go in a direction that they should not. Before you pull them out of the bag, hold them up and make sure they look like they'll work.
Make sure to oil the ORings before you try to install the hoses. Make sure that you are not twisting any hard line while tightening and do not over tighten the bolts that hold the hoses to the compressor or condensor. Use a factory service manual or a Chiltons, etc, to obtain torque specifications. The 10mm headed bolts are typically around 12 nM but verify.

Sounds to me like they got him Integra AC soft lines to put on his Civic hard line and condensor. Civic AC soft lines are both fairly short and terminate at about the center of the car near the gap between the radiator and condensor.

I circled the areas where the soft hoses should terminate. They go from the red circles on the compressor to the red circles between the radiator and condensor.
