I have a 93 Civ HB with a GSR engine. The car didn't come with air conditioning when my pops bought it in 93. I didn't bother putting A/C in it cuz my pos engine wouldn't be able to handle it. Now, with this much stronger powerplant, I've decided that I can actually have A/C without losing considerable amounts of power.
Q. Which A/C should I get( Civic or Teg)
Q. Which one would be easier to install?
Q. If I decide to drop a turbo in there, would I have to take the A/C out?

 

Any Civic AC system with a compressor bracket from a 95 Del Sol VTEC. Totally plug and play. Should run you no more than $500 using junk yard parts.

P.S. I'm here in Washington DC also so i know EXACTLY why AC is not a "luxury" item. It gets Friggin HOT here! Let me know if you need any help on the install.

That's what I plan on doing, trying to find somebody up north who took their A/C off their car to shave wieght or go to a junkyard. THanx 92sleepR, I will definitely need your advice on the install.
