What is everyones opinion on ABS? i have an opportunity to get a full ABS system from a donor car and i know that i could install it and make it work on my hatch but is it worth the time and added weight?

abs on the street = good.
it may save your life by avoiding a skid or at least help you prevent a fender bender.

abs on the track = bad.
with abs, its not as much fun because it fowls pedal feel.

dont ask me how I know.... well here's the short version-
I disabled abs on my gsr, and loved the feel for track days and autocrossing, but I kept it off, and got into a fender bender cruisign down the street at 25mph (!) because my wheels locked up and I was not thinking quickly enough .. I froze like a deer in headlights and didnt pump the brakes

I'll agree with owen....I have locked my wheels up a few times...but luckily...both Times I reacted by either pumping the brakes, or hitting the gas.

its way more fun to drive hard w/out abs IMO...but if safety is you first priority...go for it.
