ABS Needed???or not
aight well im thinking about taking out my ABS system. but i dont know if i should it will open up a lot of space for me but i loose ABS, now i see a bunch of race cars and all without ABS, does removing ABS help out someway in braking performance. and how will i go about removing it??
I am in the same dilema because i dont wanna fork out 500$ to get it fixed but jsut think it over. Is it a daily driver? Does the car see cold and wet weather? ect. I am interstead to see what other say

Most race cars do not have ABS because it would be illegal. Classes that do allow ABS usually assess a weight penalty for having the ABS because it is an advantage.
ABS is an advantage for any street or track car period. It will not make you stop in a shorter distance, but will allow for you to steer and to not lock the rear wheels under heavy braking.
