99 si rolling chasis
There is a civic si electronic blue which has a salvage theft title, with no interior, no guage cluster and no engine, the exterior is perfect.
This can be my project car.
How much should be my limit considering it has a salvage title theft title.
Or is it even a good idea to pursue this car.

Re: 99 si rolling chasis (Migs)
Why dont you start off with an EG? Its more affordable? Im not bashing your idea but maybe opening up another idea.
The cheapest EG i can find one around here is for close to 4,800 and thats with 137K miles on it.
If i go for this si, it can cost me less. But i know them are heavy cars

Dont look around Houston. Look further into Texas. My roommate got his 92 CX for only 2500. CLEAN body too.
The guys for the rolling si chasis didn't mention the price, but i'm hoping to get it around 2,500. Would it be nice to get the si chasis only for 2,500 than get the engine and interior.

I am in NEw Orleans and I will sell you a 2000 SI with all paper work.
The car has DX doors, DX suspension, no interior, no motor, no bumpers, and removed radiator support.
This car is ready to be converted to a drag car. These were the plans that I had before I moved from my parents house.
You can come get the car for 500 bucks, if you want it.
You would need:
1. fiberglass front
2. fiberglass decklid
3. rear bumper
4. front right lower control arm.
5. some type of radiator support.
And you would have a drag chassis.

will you be able to get insurance on the salvaged si chassis? It would suck to drop $8-10k into this project car just to have it stolen and get $2k from insurance because it was already a salvaeg vehicle.
