99 Civic Si Engine Replacement
I'm looking for a engine for a 99 civic si. I just wanted to make sure what kind of engine to order. I beleive a b16a2 comes in a 99 si but want to double check. Is there any recommended upgrades that are still reasonable in the same price range as the normal engine?

You're new so please use the "Search" function located in the top corner. Also do an "archived" search. Type in B16A2 / B-Series, B16, 99 Si Engine, Etc Etcand tell me what you come up with

You are the correct, the b16a2 does come in the 99-00 Si cars. I would actually recommend getting a b18c1, or a b18c (JDM GSR). These motors are actually going to put out quite a bit more power if you ask me.

it would help to know what happened to your original engine. for instance, if your transmission is good you could get a r motor, or a b18c and it'd be a pretty significant upgrade. or if your b16 head is still good, build a b20vtec for cheap
