Crank Sensor NEED HELP PLEASE!
My Wife and I picked up a 97 civic ex that was previously stolen for $2900 it had a 99 D16Y8 Motor in it.. we went to do Emission today and fail due to Crank Sensor code 54.
The car is an Automatic and I also notice that the Vehicle takes forever to REV UP, and it shift at 5,500 RPM so that mean Vtec does not kick in.
My question is what is wrong with the car? do I need to replace the Sensor or Retime the vehicle or is something wrong with the Distributor?
Please help!!
