99 civic DX hatch
i just had a question, i was thinking about gettin a new gauge cluster from an ex so is this easy and worth while to do? because not having a tach sucks and i dont really want to take the rice way out and get a huge tach

Yes, it's all plug and play. My alternative to an ex gauge cluster since I didn't like the idea of swapping out my cluster...just an idea

hey batman from ek squad? whats up.
yeah its really easy. buy the ex cluster. take off the screws on your old cluster. unplug the 2 wires. then plug them in the ex cluster and screw the screws back on. make sure you change the miles on the cluster to match your old one.

There are special places that can do this I believe.

I'm not sure about the EK's but when I swapped clusters in my EG, I also swapped the speedo/odometer from the original cluster to the new one to keep mileage correct. It was easy, just three screws on the back held it in place.
