hey so i was driving today and i threw a piston and rod into my crack shaft, and blew a 1 inch hole in my oil pan. No idea why i think the oil pump hadent been getting the the 1st piston and it got hot then boom it went.
In the end i took apart eh engine today and im rdy to put a enw one in. im looking at a Honda dohc type R engine?? i had a 98 honda civic 2 door EX it comes with everything to hook it up.. i was wondering if anyone knew if it will line up and fit in my car?? plz HELP! this was not expected and im trying to make the best out of the situation

It won't "pretty much" fit, You'll need b-series mounts, alternator brackets, del sol a/c bracket etc. This has all been covered about 76,000 times every year since this site was opened in 2000.
(that's definitely an exaggeration, but you get the idea.)
