98 EX header install Car wont run now
so my boy put a header on his y8 ex civic yesterday and since then the speedo doesnt work and it is throwing a million codes. the car wont even run without the tps unplugged.. any ideas please? thx in advance

header swap is a simple direct bolt on process, a few nuts to loose and then tighten back on..the only thing u need to do is maybe unplug o2 sensor. did u guys unplug/disconnect anything else?

The speedo not working is most likely the fuse, oddly that happened to me when I did my header. As for the other stuff, is he running a test pipe as well? That could be the reason for the codes, if not you guys must have done something, because a header install is basically unbolt old rebolt new...good luck

ok we found the blown fuse for the speedo we keep replacing and it keeps poping, and as for the header there is no test pipe

just incase anyone was interested in the outcome we found that the heatshield sawed threw the rear o2 wires causing them to rub and blew out the speedo fuse we sealed and fixed the wires and now the car is back in perfect order, thx again all who posted helping hints!
