98 civic ex....stock height...problems with puddles???
When my car was lowered I had problems a few times hitting puddles. The car would pretty much die out or start to sputter a little.
Now that the car is back to stock height I figured I wouldn't have issues....but I was wrong. These aren't huge puddles that I am flying thru...normal puddles on the side of the road on a rainy day...
What area's should I double check in the engine bay? When I pop the hood its doesn't look like it was water spashing up all over the engine...
I'm figuring I should check the distributor cap and make sure the thing is all sealed. Otherwise I have no idea how I am hitting puddles that are big enough to cause me to stall.

Well first off what kind of intake jo0 got....stock, SR, or CAI ???
If any amount of water gets thru your intake charge it could cause a stall or sputter....

I'd say check all your firing components then...ign box,distributor/cap/rotor.
Sounds like water snuck up in the wrong place somewhere.

LOL actually if I was goofing off I would expect to run into issues
These were just some puddles on the side of the road going to lunch. Luckily I didn't stall until I was right in the parking lot where I was going to eat.
When I came out I started it up on the second try and let the car run for a bit.
Just pisses me off because now that my car is pretty much stock again I didn't figure I had anything to worry about.
