98 civic engine swap

98 civic engine swap
alright guys me again, lol well i decided to change the complete motor and tranny on my 98 civic ex/si i am putting in a 1.6 dohc v-tec so any directions or help you guys can offer would be great ( i dont plan on doing the swap myself i have someone for that, i just want to be able to help)

In the US there is no '98 Si, they came out in '99. Completely different trim and chassis than the EX.
Umm, it's too early for me to start flaming you for how much I hate B16's b/c they're useless daily drivers w/o boost, but whatever, we'll skip that part.
It's VTEC, not v-tec - there is no hyphen anywhere in it.
Hrm, I can't give you much recommendations 'cept if you're swapping b/c the stock 1.6L was too weak for you...you're going to cry when you realize how much power you've gained after dropping all that $ on a B16. Don't worry, they really start to pick up at like....y'kno....6000 RPM? You'll feel like ur driving a 1.6L SOHC before the VTEC engages though...I would really think about boosting it or getting a different motor.
