Engine swap
I going to go wit a dohc vtec out of a 99 - 00 civic si! my questions is do i have to use the brackets from the 99 - 00 or will the ones in mine work?

Thanks i just blew the 1.6L SOHC V-TEC i had in there and a local customizer found a si motor but i guess i should ask what some of the best mods are to do to it

FYI bro, it's VTEC.
Get the mounts, motor, tranny, shift linkage, axles, and ecu. You can use it all, but you'll need an obd2a-obd2b conversion harness in order to use the p2t (si ecu).

hey 98civicexsohc, ppl on honda-tech can be very helpful.
its just a lack of bedside manners that they dont tolerate.
I dont think ppl would talk **** if you wouldnt try to 2nd guess and correct people when they are trying to help you.

no man...your way off........depending on the size of the sticker you can get up to 7.315 whp...so go crazy with them!!!!...you can easily get like 400 hp with only decals
