97 EL Front Passenger window won't close
I have a little problem with my power windows in my 1997 Acura 1.6 EL Premium.
The front passenger window will not close. On the master switch, 3 of the 4 windows are fully operational. The front passenger window can not be opened or closed with the master swtich.
On the front passgenger switch, the front passenger window can be opened, but not closed.
Any one have any idea what is going on here?
As well, how do i get the window closed? It is winter up here in Edmonton. Needless to say driving to m parents for christmas was a little chilly.

your window may be off track. either that, or you SAFETY IS ON on the driver side door. if your windows are or were tinted, the glue may be preventing it from opening/closing.

Re: 97 EL Front Passenger window won't close
I will get my multimeter and run some tests.
When trying to close the window / pressing up on the switch, there is no sounds of the motor working at all. The motor works going in the direction of opening the window.
So being that the window opens without any problems (it is only halfway open right now, so when trying to figure things out i have been moving the windown down about a quarter inch at a time) this leads me to believe the window is on its track. Correct me if that assumption is wrong.
In the event the motor is shot, how do i get the window up so i can at least drive the thing (it is -20 C at the moment)?
I guess the positive about this is that i get to drive my parents 09 TSX until i get the window up.
