97 Civic DX Hardly Lowering with Teins?? Help!!
Hello, My friend owns a 97 Civic Dx, we lowered it on Tein S Tech springs and the drop isn't that low at all. We'd like to go lower. The wheels still about an inch out of the wheel well, we want them to be nicely tucked. Why isn't it lowering? Is it because it doesn't have A/C, P/S, and a lighter motor? I have H&R Sports on my car and the wheels are nicely right around the wheel well. Should we just sell the Teins and buy the H&R Sports? Finally... Will the Sports from a 88-91 Civic/ CRX fit 92-00 civics? (if new springs are needed). This is all done on stock shocks.

maybe drive around and let the springs settle. then if that doesn't lower it to your expectations, get some different lowering springs, h and r race springs, or any set of coilovers will do the trick.

Lol, n3g, not me in my avatar. They have had time to settle, been on the car for around 3 months. Well.... I guess it sounds like we're gunna give the H&R Sports a try. Or... does the less weight have anything to do with it in the front? We liked the rear Teins just the front was up pretty high. and no the springs aren't on backwards

love my h&r sports which lowered just perfectly. but coilovers are nice. i've heard not the greatest with teins springs. coilovers though i heard were awesome.

this is shameless advertising, but I have H&R race springs FS - $70. They are in the box and ready to ship: http://filebox.vt.edu/users/am...S.jpg
