Re: coil overs or lowering springs (FAH Q)
Again, I am going to have to recommend the infamous Ground Control coilovers. Being able to adjust the ride height is just too convenient, especially when you have to take your car in for maintenance. They use Eibach springs, and depending on how low you go, along with the right shocks, you can have a pleasant ride, along with great handling. Just my opinion.

IMO Im using springs from now on. The skunks I had in my 99 hatch moved all over and make noises(yes properly installed)coilovers just dont have contact points on the top and bottom at all times..
I had GC's on my AGX and they didnt make any noise at all. The front springs were always loaded because of my sway bar even with the entire front of the car off the ground.
The rears were held up and held straight by the upper poly mount in the pillow, so they didn't bounce around and rattle.
And another thing...
To the guy who posted this thread....if you have to ask, you probably don't want or even need coilovers. You should be happy with lowering springs....that you will probably end up cutting anyway

I know exactly what he is talking about.
And I still never had the problems you described with the GC's

neither do most lowering springs.

They just stuck up there. I used my OEM dust covers that were cut down like the GC instructions said. The GC poly upper spring thing, when slid over the OEM plastic dust shield made the top of the spring "stick" when pushed on.

I prefer shocks and springs. I'm going coil overs soon, but thats so I have the same ride height after dropping a bigger engine.
