Default 96 Honda Civic. No power at all. Help?

So today I left my lights on at work. 4 hours later for lunch went out battery dead. Tried to jump it. Nothing at all. So I took the battery to autozone they recharged it the guy said the battery is good it's less than a year old. So I go back hook up the battery and expect it to turn on. Nope nothing at all no lights no crank no clicks the gauges nothing at all lights up. It's like completely dead. I left the car at work. I'm heading back tomorrow with tools to figure it out anyone have any advice what to check. I kinda have a feeling my coworker hooked up the cables wrong. Well he told me he did. I seen a spark. If this is the case would this be an easy fix or not? What should I check I'm not gettin any power at all and it's frustrating me. Any help would be fine.

Do the hazard lights work? If so, check the 80A hood fuse.

Take a multimeter with you to your car and measure voltage across the battery posts. Is the battery dead?

No we took it to autozone they charged it for an hour and before we left the guy checked the battery and said it was good to go that the battery has life and just was low from the lights being on.

The point is that you need to test the battery again.
