96 cx/D16Z6 swap - backfires and many codes
My 96 cx hatchback has been backfiring for last few days to the point i cannot go anywhere with it. It starts every time, but once you give it gas, lets say over 3000rpms it bogs out backfires and can't go any faster then maybe 30mph. . I have new plugs and wires.
I plugged up code reader, i got 4 codes:
*p0325 - Knock Sensor 1 Circuit(Bank 1)
*p0141 - Oxygen Sensor Heater Bank 1 Sensor 2
*p0450
*p0453 Evaporative Emission System Pressure
Sensor/Switch (high output)
Now i understand the o2 sensor and knock sensor but what could possibly knock them both out? Any help would be appreciated :D

Re: 96 cx backfire
not sure. the guy who had the car before me did his own "build". Seemed good when i first got the car. After 2 weeks of having the car, the timing belt popped off which messed up everything, so i took it down to a local garage and they put in a remanufactured D16Z6 engine with 40k miles.
After maybe 3 months now, the car has been backfiring. i believe it still has a warranty on the engine Should I take it back to them?
I mean it could be just the sensors that are causing the issues but then again, i could be wrong?
I also have aem air intake, someone said it could be that, others say my cat could be clogged. But if cat was clogged, it would barely move and stall correct?
