We need more info.. Compression test #'s overall mileage? Double check all of your vacuum lines> How long has it been running.. The cold start and run could take up to a week or two to relearn the low idle... Any Cel's? Is it missing at low rpm therefore causing it to want to die? Low compression in one cylinder or a bad plug wire could also cause the symptoms you are experiencing...

oh wow. umm....i honestly couldnt tell you any of that info except the milage. it has 114k on it. it ran really well for about a month then the check engine light came on and it just wants to die if you dont keep it about 2000rpm. i know nothig about engines, the swap was done about a week before i bought it and it ran really well. then everything just started going wrong. i'll try to get all that info you asked for though. thank you for helping

like they said check compression, check vacuum lines, you can easily have a bent valve too, at 114k that's quite a bit of miles on that belt if it's stock yet, my buddy's gsr timing belt broke at 112K, factory belt. not saying there is something wrong with your belt, it's just an idea for you to check you timing...PEACE

whats an iac code? i remember a guy from my last job hooked somethin up to a plug under the dash to find codes and nothing came up. i know the ECU has a switch on it because it was programmed for a supercharged motor but if i flip that switch it runs even worse.

how do i check compression and whether or not the valves are bent?

dont worry about checkin compresion

search on here for a how to: on checkin codes

then when you find out which code you got let me know and we can go from there

if you have a 2timer and a chiped ecu tuned for a blower than that can also not help, but first pull the code and we can go forward from there!

pm me if you need

hey, it says i cannot use instant messaging on here. do you have AIM?? my aim screen name is modifydaccord.

yea i wouldnt know how to get a code unless i was talked through it step by step. cuz my friend from work did plug in that tool thing thats supposed to bring up codes but it came up with nothing. and yea the ecu is chipped and all sorts of weird. but there is a switch to switch it to the chip and if i switch it to that it runs even worse.
