96 civic ex, d16y8
totally stock civic, im looking to up the horsepower, pretty soon, as you know the stock ex isnt quite a speed machine....at first im looking to spend around 1g or a little less.....what would you do with that?

You can do a homemade turbo.
Otherwise you would only see large power from nitrous. When controlled and tunned, you can do a lot.... or you can break real quick.
Like they say: Fast, Reliable, Cheap. pick 2.
Youd be better off putting that 1000 in suspension if you dont have the money to do the motor now.

setup your suspension ....coilovers/springs with some good shocks and a good front camber kit....if you still have money left get some new rims/tires.
