Default 95 civic has no 1500-3000 rpm

Ive been fixing many other problems and im not sure if I did something, but when I lightly press the gas it stays and bounces from 1.5-1.7k rpm, then i give it a little more gas and it jumps to 3k rpm. It drives like crap too, no power.

Its had a recent tune up, new IACV and FITV, new plugs, good wires, coolant has been bled, no CEL codes. Its driving me crazy! Valves also adjusted yesterday didnt help.

Its a 95 DX with a D15B7.

Just took it for a drive the way it is, drives normal in the higher rpms, but if i drive normal and shift where it should normally be 2k-2.5k if bucks like crazy, almost chirping tires, it was so bad my hat fell off.

I drove it like 10 hours ago and now it wont start, and in the on position no lights come on the cluster and none of the guages move (brake, cel), but the radio works, and when i turn the headlights on the back lighting for the guages work but the guages dont, it cranks all day long and doesnt start. WTF! Im ripping my hair out right now the car was really nice three weeks ago now im really regretting buying a honda. Please help!

check ALL your grounds and hit every connector that seems relevent w/ a multimeter(harbor frieght,$3),both under dash and under hood. got any chilton/haynes books? (it does have alot a miles) try cleanin out gunk in the I.M. where the injectors sit. (just removing the injectors won't reveal the gunk, you must remove the I.M. and look in the runners, you could be clogged up.)

Yeah it does have a lot of miles but it looks like the motor has been replaced. Maybe coil? It sucks because i found an old thread with my exact same problem but it didnt get any answers and the guy isnt on the site anymore.

Im going to check right now if its getting spark and fuel. Wish me luck lol.

Well it died out on the victory lap and i had to punch the fuse box lol. So could it just be a loose connector? How would i tighten it up? Thanks.
