94 ex w/h22 boost 10lbs - won't start
94 ex w/h22 boost 10lbs
i noticed that my vacuum line on the bov had a slit in it. when i covered the whole, the car died. went to go try and start it back up, and nothing. it just cranks and cranks, not even attemting to start.
i checked the cluster and the cel was on. i jumped the service connector and srs blinks a vode for the horn, which i dont have, but the cel stays solid. my first guess was bad ecu. so i install another p28 to see and it doesnt start it either. only difference is that this ecu gives codes from the cel. its 10(IAT) and 21 (Vtec csolenoid) dont really understand the 21 because the car is wired for vtec and everything checks out on the solenoid.
put the other ecu in and nothing. what could this be? everything is normal as far as the main relay and fuel pump priming. once i attempt to start and release the key, the fuel pump primes again and the i hear the iacv humming.
what should i check next? ill try and put a video up later so you guys can see.

thats one thing that i havent checked. there is lots of pressure from the fuel filter and fuel line. havent pulled the spark plugs to see if fuel have been spraying. funny thing though cause usually when i cranked the engine, i can smell fuel, but now i cant.
but the car was running fine until i fixed the bov vacuum line

When you have fuel and spark, it's time to check:
1) The plug wire and injector plug firing orders
2) The mechanical timing
3) The cylinder compressions

yeah i got that part, but what i still dont understand is:
car was running fine. had a leak in the bov vacuum, fixed that and car wont start. i didnt touch anything else in the engine bay.

yeah..you finally got an account...lol
but yeah a resistor in the ecu was fried.
but when i put my p28 in, it still doesnt start. we have to figure out why the IAT sensor is throwing a code.
anybody else have a clue whats going on?
