94 Civic - How do I drain a full tank of old gas?
I just rebuilt my engine, and remembered before i parked it that it had a full tank of gas, that gas is about 11 months old, and havent got a clue as to how to drain it, i dont want to drop the tank, as i am physically limited so im trying to spend as least amount of time on the floor as possible as i have no lift

the EG civics do have a gas drain bolt. Or do like I did and connect the output of the fuel pump to a appropriate container and override the main relay so the pump is always running with ignition on.

Or you can get a manual siphon pump for 20-30 bucks and just do the transfer yourself from the access plate under the rear seat.
Then you know the drain bolt is still sealed.
Here is 3 options I found at walmart.com the first one being the best suited for the application.
FLO N'GO 08339 Fuel Transfer Pump, 1 gpm - Walmart.com
Kerosene Pump, Manual Operation - Walmart.com
Mityvac MV7241 Fluid Transfer Pump - Walmart.com
