94 civic electric issue
ok so here's the story. my clock works when the car is on but it is always reset to 1:00 , my cd player will not start anymore (stock cd player) and my cigarette lighter works. it's not the fuses because none were blown but i replaced them anyway, (backup and cd / cig fuse). i thought maybe it was the constant wire, which i read was the blue with white stripe, so i checked and it seems fine.
my cd player and clock sometimes go out and if i leave my car overnight and come back they work.... it's really wierd. anyone have any ideas or suggestions.
TIA.

Re: 94 civic electric issue (vandersmissenc)
i belive the clock/radio are spliced together. take the clock out, and test the positve wire for voltage... it would be a memory wire that is wired directly to the battery, which would keep the time..I dont know what color wire, but if u look at a wiring diagram it wouldnt be too bad, and if there is no power, check resistance throughout that wire.
