94 civic dx B15B7 turbo question
I can't find any turbo kits made for a 94 civic dx. I have the stock 1.5L in the car and have ben wanting a turbo. If there isn't any kits, does anyone know how to possibly make a custom kit. Any info would be helpful.

its called d15b7.
and any 1.6L sohc turbo kit would bolt up. but keep the boost low and make sure its fueled. d15 rods are pencils.

Greddy makes the SOHC kit...5psi is good.....yes the rods are pencils, but you can stick LS rodss in but notchin the block...I also heard that vx rods are bigger and can with hold a bit more, also look up other stock D series pistons to drop compression for higher boost.....
D series Powa!! With proper boost and tuning you can run 8-10lbs of boost depending what condition the motor is or was in..

The d15b7 has 9.2:1 compression, goingany lower is pointless. I ran about 5psi on my old engine, with no fuel managment, it was a very ver very forgiving engine, It had 100k when i boosted it and 120k when i swapped it out. It now has over 150k on it and still runing strong in my buddy's civic.
the rods are pencil thin i wouldn't push them with anything more then about 5-6psi max.
Any d-series kit will bolt rite up (greddy would be good) get a 92-95 greddy sohc ex/si kit. or even a drag or revhard.

Re: 94 civic dx B15B7 turbo question (Pritos)
the d15b7 that i had in my car before the swap kicked ***, well sota. I ran a 75 shot zex in that motor for 5 months, around 2000k and it ran 14.70 at 98 mph. but the everyday power was nothing like the b16a2 that i have now. If I was you, the money that you we end up putting into the 1.5 after turbo would be better of spent putting in the b16 or b18, and you will get better power. like i said I ran a 14.70 was my best on a 75 shot, all motor b16a2 with ITR cams and LSD 14.22 un tuned.......... just a thought.
